The classic Central European climate reigns in Munich. During the hottest months (July and August) the temperature rises to 24°C, in winter (December - February) it often drops below freezing.

Therefore, April to October are recommended as the best months to visit the Bavarian capital, even though it rains the most during the summer. Many tourists also come here before Christmas for the popular Christmas markets.
